  • FIP beneficiaries with 1st class entitlement may travel in Business Class or on aircraft-type seats. On the Piraeus – Heraklion and Piraeus – Chania routes, the discount also applies to a shared AB4 cabin (4 berths inside).
  • FIP beneficiaries with 2nd class entitlement may travel in Economy Class on deck. On the Piraeus – Heraklion and Piraeus – Chania routes, the discount also applies to aircraft-type seats.1

The discount applies only to active staff and their family members, not to retirees and their family members.1

No FIP benefits are granted in July and August.1

Ticket and Reservation Purchase

Ferry tickets must be booked before departure; registration at the port office is mandatory.2

On international services, fuel surcharges, environmental surcharges, EU ETS fees and port fees apply.1 For domestic routes, port fees do not need to be paid separately as they are included in the fare. No discount is granted for the transport of vehicles.2

On the day of travel, bookings can be made on site subject to availability. Purchasing on board ships is not possible.2

Discounts

Children under 4 years who do not occupy a bed, berth or seat pay €5.50 per crossing. On services to and from Ancona and Venice, children between 4 and 16 years pay 50% of the adult fare. Passengers aged 16 and over pay the full adult fare. On services to and from Bari, children between 4 and 12 years pay 50% of the adult fare. Passengers aged 12 and over pay the full adult fare.2

Upgrades

A seat upgrade to any cabin (except LUX) is possible with a 25% discount based on the price difference between the original and the requested arrangement. Upgrades are available subject to availability at port agencies of Blue Star Ferries/Hellenic Seaways/Superfast Ferries/Anek Lines or at the Purser’s Office on board.1
